Together we raised £1450 for Children in Need!

Friday was Children in Need day. The children all looked amazing in their outfits; school was full of super heroes, spots, bright colours and lots of Pudsey bears!
Despite the wet, miserable weather outside, inside it was a wonderful, cheerful hive of activity. Classes from the North and South building came together to lay silver coins on our Silver Coin Trail. While laying their coins, the children also drew and wrote positive messages to create a stunning art work that stretched all along the coin trail.
At lunchtime the staff and children lifted all the coins and the big job of counting all the coins started. Thank you to the staff who gave up their lunch break to count the coins and to the children who spent their Dojo time counting coins.
After school both buildings held a Bun Sale. Thank you to everyone for bringing in the wonderful array of buns and cakes. It was a very difficult for Claire, the school cook to judge the winning entries. The North Winner was Charlie Shepherd and the South Winner was Meghan Rawson. Thank you to all the families who came in and purchased all the cakes and biscuits.
Our final total was an awesome £1450!
Thank you to everyone for their support and help in making this another truly successful and fun, Children in Need day at Farsley Farfield Primary. Be a Great Citizen and Be the Best you can be! 🙂
