We have been writing a version of Eliza and the Moonchild where the Moonchild arrives on earth in the autumn. We have gathered autumn leaves, berries, conkers and acorns and have looked at all the wonderful autumn colours. In our art lesson we learned how to do a water colour wash to made a background and then how to add the foreground with either watercolour pencils or pastels. The children worked really hard and have created some beautiful pictures.

It looks like everyone has worked very hard on their autumn pictures, Isla enjoyed using the soft pastels and came home and showed the family how to smudge with them.

I love the autumn time!! We like going for nice long walks with our dog in the woods! These pictures are wonderful and it was great to see them at the schools harvest festival. Well done 2F!!!
