This week in History we have been answering a series of enquiry questions about the Lunar Landings of 1969. The children have had to investigate these questions range of different sources of evidence in order to prove or disprove their theories.

The children learnt about why the astronauts risked their lives travelling to the moon and they used photographs, film footage and newspaper articles to discover what Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin did when they were on the moon.

They enjoyed using drama techniques to gain empathy with how the astronauts felt when walking on the moon for the first time.
