Minibeast Poems and Artwork

Friday 30th June | 1 comment

We have been very impressed with the children’s artwork and  writing this week.

The children wrote some beautiful poems describing minibeasts.  They had to think about and describe how the minibeasts look and move.  The children worked very hard to include alliteration and similes in their poems.

In art, the children have been learning how to use shape and line when using pencil.  They have been making close observations of different minibeasts and redrafted their drawings to improve their work.

Next Week

Unfortunately, bees don’t like rain and so we have had to postpone our bee visit until next week when the weather looks better.

On Thursday, we are looking forward to our Skipping Fun Day workshop.  Please make sure your child has their P.E. kit on this day including suitable footwear. Thank you.
