Our wonderful families.

We thought about our families. Everyone’s family is different, some of us have lots of brothers and sisters, some of us don’t. Some of us have lots of uncles, aunts and cousins and some of have none. We all realised that our families are all unique and most importantly, they are all special to us. We learned how to put our family members together on a family tree. It was quite complicated working out where to place our aunts and uncles and cousins, so we planned the tree first. Once we had organised where we wanted to place the people we used the skills we had learned when we drew autumn pictures to draw the tree and colour it. We were all very proud of our work.

The family trees are lovely.Prisha got so emotional to see photos of all the family members when we made one more family tree at home inspired by one that she made at school. It a very special topic because it makes them think about their families. Thanks to Mrs Fisher.

Thank you for the comments. I am so glad you have enjoyed looking at the family trees. The children will bring them home soon, so you can enjoy having them at home and show them to the rest of the family. Best wishes, from Mrs Fisher 🙂

Fantastic work…So lovely to be able to see all of your family trees 2F. Our family and friends are so important and it’s great to see you thinking about who is in your family and why they are special. Eva managed to see lots of her Somerset family during Half Term and we like to catch up with our family in Leeds whenever time permits (not as often as we’d like)!

I really enjoyed these family trees! Well done 2F! Family is really important, we have just returned from Belfast in N Ireland visiting Colm’s family over there. We have had a very busy and fun time. We have lots of family to see in Ireland! It is really lovely to have space at holiday times to catch up with family!!!

Hope all the children enjoyed the break and spending time with family too.

Thank you for your comments. I’m glad you had a lovely holiday, my grandparents lived in Belfast, so I can remember happy holidays there too. The children worked really hard on their family trees and their work on their special person. Best wishes, Mrs Fisher 🙂
