Farsley Farfield Year 2

Join us on our learning adventures.

Thank you, Deeva.

We had a wonderful walk down Farsley Town Street as part of our topic work comparing life in Farsley with life in the Himachal Pradesh region of India. The sun shone and we enjoyed looking at all the different buildings and thinking about how different the town of Kangra looked in the photographs we had seen in class. The highlight of our outing was a visit to Deeva, the Indian Resaurant, where we asked the owner, Joe, our questions. We learned lots of interesting facts about India from him.

After lunch we all shared some delicious food that had been cooked for us by the chefs at Deeva.

In our Maths lesson we found which food everyone had liked best and made a tally chart and block graph and used them to answer some questions about the information.

In Literacy and ICT we wrote thank you letters to Joe at Deeva. Click on the ebook below to see some of our  work.
