There was once a clever girl who made some paper dolls . They were Jamel,Amalia,Polly,Skye,Alice,Ben,Bailey and Chloe with the bow! They jumped and they danced  until they met  a  Gruffulo who burped and said “I’m going to eat you!”

But the Paper Dolls sang  “You can’t get us .Oh no,no,no! We’re holding hands and we won’t let go ,we’re Jamel,Amalia,Polly,Skye Alice,Ben,Bailey and Chloe with the bow!”

And they jumped to the reading corner and they met a Dragon who said “I’m going to cook you!”

But the Paper dolls sang,”You can’t get us ,Oh no,no,no we’re holding hands and we won’t let go, we’re Jamel,Amalia,Polly,Skye,Alice,Ben,Bailey and Chloe with the Bow!”

So they danced into the car  and met a little dog who said,!I’m going to lick you!”

But the Paper dolls sang,”You can’t get us,Oh no,no no!We’re holding hands and we won’t let go,We’re Jamel,Amalia,Polly,Skye,Alice,Ben,Bailey and Chloe with the bow!”

So they jumped out of the car and they danced into the garden and they met a little boy who said,”I’m going to cut you with some scissors!” And he did!The boy said,”Your gone forever!”

But the paper dolls sang,” We’re not gone forever!Oh no,no,no!We’re holding hands and we won’t let go!We’re Jamel,Amalia,Polly,Skye,Alice,Ben,Bailey and Chloe with the bow!”

And they flew into the little girls memory. In the little girls memory she had her Grandma,,a glove,an old teacher,a mummy and some egiptian books. The girl grew into a teenager and grew into a mummy. The girl who grew into a mummy had a child and the child made some Paper dolls!           THE END.

Well done Amalia, a super story based on Julia Donaldson’s book, The Paper Dolls. You worked very hard on your story, even staying in at lunchtime to write it up on the blog. Well done for remembering to put speech marks round the words which were being spoken and for using capital letters for all the names.
i especially liked how you thought about what each character that the dolls met might do, like the dog saying he would lick them!
Now just be careful with the words – your and you’re. You’re means ‘you are’ so the sentence “Your gone forever!” should read “You’re gone forever!”

Well done again though – you put a lot of effort in to writing the story and then putting it on the blog for everyone to enjoy.
