Twisting and hand-jiving in PE!

As part of our topic on the 1960s and 70s we have been looking at the dances from the 1960s in PE. The children had a lot of fun learning to twist and hand-jive! Here are the links to some of the music we used, I know the children were keen to practise their dance moves at home! I am sure you will enjoy watching them and will want to get up and join in with them.
Please, if you have any photos or memorabilia from the 1960s or 70s could you let your child bring it in to show. We are all fascinated by the things that have stayed the same or similar, like the cereals and sweets and the things that have changes a lot, like television, computers and telephones.
In Music with Mrs Loveridge the children have also enjoyed learning some of the songs from the 1960s, like ‘Yellow Submarine’ and they also listened to music from artists such as the ‘Beatles.’
