In the previous post you will have seen the wonderful work the children have done this week about Nocturnal Animals.
In Maths we have been practising answering a range of different questions, and have used our knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. The children selected resources to help them, such as 100 squares, 200 charts and LEGO or they drew pictures to help them visualise what the question was asking.
The children had a quick introduction to a new online creative resource we will be using, Purple Mash. Next week the children will get individual passwords and usernames and we will be writing letters to introduce ourselves to our new blogging buddies. You can click on the tab at the top to find links for the schools we are buddies with, one in New Zealand, one near Chicago and one in Hertfordshire.
This weeks Special Mention children were Ben and Finn. They always follow the school code, especially ‘Being the Best they can be’ and ‘Being Great Learners.’ Well done to both of them.
This Thursday, May 22nd, you are invited to come and see your child’s work from this half term. We will open up earlier in the morning and from 3.00pm at the end of the day. Please do come and join us for this ‘Sharing Session.’
Enjoy a beautiful sunny weekend! From Mrs Fisher, Mrs Suddards and Mrs Hodgson.
