Get the reading bug!

Thursday 26th September | 3 comments

The children will be bringing home their Bug Club passwords, stuck inside their new Reading Records. Bug Club is an online Reading Scheme. Children will be allocated a choice of reading books and as they read the books they will have questions about the book to answer. These questions help to develop comprehension skills. If your child spends 15 minutes on Bug Club this counts towards their Extreme Reading challenge, so please do sign their Reading Record for them. ( Just date it and write Bug Club)

Lots of Bug Club activity in the Chaudhari house today. Eva’s had great fun showing me how it works and how she’s got to look out for the bugs that are awake (as they ask questions). It’s a great way to check the comprhension part of reading and fun too!

I am so glad that Eva has enjoyed playing Bug Club today. Thank you for sharing her enthusiasm and commenting on our blog, from Mrs Fisher 🙂
